Ubyx Initiatives
Projects & Initiatives
Ubyx convenes and leads initiatives that advance tokenized money ubiquity. Each project targets a specific barrier to adoption; together they form a portfolio that accelerates the convergence of traditional finance and Web3.
Areas of Interest
Making tokenized money work everywhere
Everything Ubyx does feeds into a single objective: tokenized money ubiquity. We identify the structural barriers and build or convene the initiatives needed to remove them. These are the areas where we are active today or plan to launch projects.
Point-of-sale acceptance
Enabling tokenized money to be accepted at the physical and digital point of sale through existing merchant infrastructure.
Agentic commerce
Defining how autonomous agents transact with tokenized money; payments initiated, authorised, and settled by software on behalf of humans and businesses.
Corporate liquidity management
Helping corporate treasurers hold, move, and redeem tokenized money with the certainty and auditability required for institutional cash management.
Tokenized money interoperability
Building the clearing infrastructure that makes tokens issued by one institution redeemable at another, across issuers, chains, and jurisdictions.
Multi-chain wallets for banks and fintechs
Accelerating the deployment of multi-chain wallet capabilities within banks and fintechs as the first step in their adaptation to the world of tokens and chains.
Onchain transaction privacy
Advancing solutions that give institutional participants the transaction privacy required to operate on public and permissioned blockchains.
Tokenized Cash Management Advisory Group
TCMAG is an industry advisory group convened by Ubyx that brings together senior treasury professionals from leading multinationals to identify requirements and set standards for tokenized cash management.
The group meets monthly under Chatham House Rules. Topics include IAS 7 cash classification, multi-currency management, cross-border redemption, and counterparty risk. TCMAG publishes thought leadership that informs the design of the Ubyx clearing system.
